I am certain that nobody wants to see the 404: Page Not Found. Some people click away even before 404: Page Not Found shows up, because it is annoying ! 404 error is one of the recognizable error users can find on the web. It’s the user determination to search through website but they couldn’t get it, inherently being broken. 404 as if a feeling of broken relationship, because the expectation from the user failed to be fulfilled.
However, if we dig deeper, this annoying 404 error could become an opportunity to build a better relationship with the user. All the marketer needs is to “utilized the error” in the midst of creativity.
